Filtering Market Scanner Results
Use market scanner filters to help target your scanner results, for example to exclude penny stocks, you would use the Price above filter and enter a higher value, perhaps $5.00. This would return only those contracts which meet all other criteria, and whose per share price is equal to or higher than $5.00.
To filter a contract
After you define the Instrument and Location, click in the Filter field.
Use any of the filter fields to narrow your search results:
Price above - filters out those contracts with a price less than this value.
Price below - filters out those contracts with price higher than this value.
Volume above - filters out contracts with a volume less than this value.
Average option volume above - filters out options contracts whose average volume is less than this value.
Capitalization above - filters out those contracts with a market cap lower than the value you enter x 1,000,000.
Capitalization below - filters out those contracts with a market cap higher than the value you enter x 1,000,000.
Stock type - includes only those stock type you select, either just stock, just ETF, or all.
Note that you can select multiple filters, but the Price above/Price below and Cap above/Cap below field pairs are mutually exclusive.
