Euronext Amsterdam

NYSE Euronext Amsterdam lists over 140 domestic and foreign companies as well as investment funds, structured products, ETFs and bonds.

The Amsterdam Stock Exchange, established in 1602 by the Dutch East India Company, is considered the oldest exchange in the world. The Amsterdam Stock Exchange and the European Option Exchange (EOE), a futures and options exchange founded in Amsterdam in 1978, combined in 1997 to form Amsterdam Exchange. Amsterdam Exchange merged with the exchanges of Brussels and Paris in 2000 to form Euronext, and is now known as NYSE Euronext Amsterdam.

The AEX Index, supported by NYSE Euronext Amsterdam, reflects the performance of the 25 most actively traded shares listed on NYSE Euronext Amsterdam and a key benchmark of the Dutch stock market and Dutch economy.
